The NIOGEMS 4 introductory course is designed for Tribal and government NIOGEMS users to learn how to navigate map and data viewer menus, use buttons and tools, and quickly generate reports and maps.
The NIOGEMS training staff are committed to providing timely and helpful service to all users.
Eligibility and Cost
NIOGEMS is available to all Tribal government resource managers, and federal agencies with a Tribal trust responsibility.
All authorized users of NIOGEMS software are eligible for NIOGEMS training.
There is no tuition cost for NIOGEMS courses.
NIOGEMS Training Materials
NIOGEMS trainers will provide a comprehensive NIOGEMS manual in both printed and electronic form, quick reference guides, and training videos.
Location
Training can be delivered either virtually, or at DEMD's office in Lakewood, Colorado.
Course Information
NIOGEMS support staff offers classroom-style training sessions. The training sessions are hands on, relying upon realistic scenarios customized to specific reservations to help users practice using the program.
Registration
Seats for virtual training are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Register by emailing IA_NIOGEMS_Helpdesk@bia.gov.

- NIOGEMS login with PIV card
- MS Teams
- an active NIOGEMS account and server access
- NIOGEMS software installed and operational on your computer
