- On first mention, use the person’s full name.
- On second mention:
- Use the first name when writing about our teams or internal work.
- Otherwise, follow AP style and use the last name.
If using just a first or last name might confuse readers, use the full name again.
State Names
- Always spell out state names.
- Correct - Mississippi
- Don't abbreviation - MS
- When talking about multiple states, use lowercase for the word “state.”
- All 50 states responded.
- When naming a city and state together, spell out the state:
- Atlanta, Georgia
