477 Annual Report Overview

The 477 Annual Report is the only requirement Tribes must complete under P.L. 102-477, as amended. There are three reports to the form: Narrative, Financial, and Statistical, which must be submitted using the OMB 1076-0135 form templates, posted below. Each report of the form must be submitted as a separate PDF document. Upon signature, they may be emailed to 477Reporting@bia.gov.

In 2025, the Bureau of Indian Affairs made significant updates to the Annual Report form (OMB 1076-0135) that Federally Recognized Tribes use to meet the federal reporting requirement. This training provides an overview of the key updates that were made to each report form.
