Office of the Superintendent

The Office of the Superintendent provides decision-making, direction, public relations, Indian Affairs representation to other governmental agencies and private sector organizations, and overall management of assigned resources at the local level through executive leadership and policy direction for programs and mission responsibilities, administrative direction, coordination, and support to its programs and mission responsibilities for the Agency. As delegated, the Superintendent, on behalf of the Secretary of the Interior, works directly with elected tribal governments and their leaders in support of a government-to-government relationship to promote tribal sovereignty and self-determination.
