ISDEAA Exams and Certification

Exams

An initial exam is required. If federal personnel do not pass the initial exam, the DSD staff will issue a retake exam. The participant must retake the course if a passing score is not achieved on the second exam.

Students have 10 days from the date of notice to schedule a retake exam.

No certificates will be issued to federal personnel for training courses with an exam simply for attendance or participation.

Exams are not returned to participants.

Certification

The BIA will provide certificates to federal personnel who complete 100% attendance and achieve an 80% average on all core curriculum and/or graded material. Achieving a level of accuracy in each course assists in determining competency and the knowledge necessary for Awarding Official certification per the Awarding Official’s Certification System.

Please allow up to four weeks to receive certificates.
