The tribe serviced is the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe. This tribe includes approximately 2,012 members who are eligible to receive various services through their tribal office.

On Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement officers from the Ute Mountain Ute Agency responded to a call on the Ute Mountain Reservation that resulted in an officer involved shooting. Read the full press statement.
