Rates

The most recent electric rate adjustment was enacted on January 18, 2023. Since then, SCIP has imposed power purchase cost adjustments to pay for power supply costs not covered by the regular rate. The most recent purchase power cost adjustment was on May 1, 2024. This adjustment assessed all customers except Irrigation Project Pumps $0.025 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumed, in addition to the published electric power rates. SCIP is conducting a new cost-of-service rate study to determine whether the electric power rates effective on January 18, 2023, should be adjusted.
