The Buffalo Lanes Bowling Alley is a new attraction in Sisseton, South Dakota. Their mission is to provide a top quality bowling experience so that their bowling guests and their families will return again and again. They provide a top notch bowling facility, quality activities, and events along with exceptional service and personal attention to their guests.
“There has been a great response from the community since it opened,” said Louis Johnson, Chairman of the Buffalo Lake District. “It provides community members with a fun activity to do, especially during winter months when Sisseton experiences extremely cold temperatures.”
The bowling facility houses 8 lanes, a snack bar, a pro shop, locker rooms, a lounge, and an arcade. It has quickly become a hub for gathering and entertainment for the community.
“Our bowlers would have to drive over 50 miles to bowl. We have several teams and leagues that participate in tournaments five nights a week,” said Kenneth Johnson, General Manager. “Saturdays are packed with bowlers of all ages. It is a great place for a date, to bring your family, or have a party.”
The bowling alley has provided two full time positions and six part-time positions. Entry level employees gain customer service and bowling alley operations experience.
