Tribal Electrification Program

The Tribal Electrification Program (TEP) will utilize $145.5 million to increase the number of Tribal homes with reliable and efficient electricity not including $4.5 million for administrative costs to retain a professional services contract to provide technical assistance to tribes in the areas of pre-award guidance, award management, project technical assistance, procurement, and utility system impacts.

Round 1 and 2 Completion

The TEP was allocated $150 Million through the Inflation Reduction Act.  Upon completion of the review and selection process, successful applicants received notification from the Bureau of Indian Affairs along with a public announcement of selections in September, 2024, for the final awards.
