- Course description:
- This two-day, hands-on training course provides a practical introduction to both ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, equipping participants with the foundational skills needed to manage, analyze, collect, and share geospatial data. Participants will learn core desktop GIS workflows in ArcGIS Pro, including data management using geodatabases, map creation and visualization, attribute data management, and basic GIS analysis techniques. The course will then transition to ArcGIS Online, where attendees will explore web mapping, data sharing, feature layer editing, and collaborative GIS workflows. Additional focus is placed on modern field data collection strategies using ArcGIS field applications, including Survey123. The training also highlights the development of operational and public-facing geospatial products, demonstrating how GIS can support informed decision-making, field operations, stakeholder engagement, and public outreach through interactive maps, applications, and dashboards.
