Proposed Updates to the 105(l) Facility Lease Process

The Office of the Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs, in collaboration with the Office of Facilities, Property and Safety Management and the Office of Tribal Leases, invites Tribal representatives to participate in one of two virtual Consultation Sessions regarding recent proposed updates to the 105(l)-facility lease process.

105(1) Facility Lease Guide Updates

During these virtual Consultation Sessions, the Office of Tribal Leases will consult on proposed changes to the 105(l) facility lease process that will include topics such as the cost approach method, lease application deadlines, Principal and Interest (P&l), depreciation, reserve funding related to federally owned or funded facilities, and an optional construction pre-approval.
