Biography

Joe A. Ogden serves as the Associate Director for Investigations with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services. A member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, Ogden brings more than 20 years of law enforcement experience to the position, including 16 years with the FBI, where he most recently served as Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Field Office. Throughout his FBI career, he held leadership and investigative assignments in Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, and FBI Headquarters, with extensive experience in Indian Country major crimes, violent crime, drug trafficking, domestic terrorism, complex financial investigations, and multi-agency task force operations. Prior to joining the FBI, Ogden served as a police officer with the Tulsa Police Department.
