On August 6, 1997, remains of an unidentified female were located in the area of 51st Avenue and Dust Devil Lane on the Gila River Reservation in Maricopa County, Arizona. She is believed to have been between 16 and 20 years of age and believed to be Native American or Caucasian. She was approximately 5'3" in height and had long dark brown hair, approximately 10 inches in length. She may had a child or had carried a child to term. The Bureau of Indian Affairs Missing and Murdered Unit and the Gila River Police Department are seeking information that may assist them with identifying Jane Doe.
