Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change 2024

The 2nd Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change (GIYSCC), which takes place on August 9, 2024, is a virtual conference that aims to provide dialogue by, for, and among Indigenous youth regarding climate change. This year’s summit places emphasis on Small Island Developing Nations (SIDS).

About Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change

The first GIYSCC, which included over 1300 registrants, took place in 2023 and was hosted by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), one of GIYSCC’s founding partners.
