The United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) Office of Environmental Resource Management (OERM), in partnership with the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (SE CASC), invites USET Member Tribal Nations to register a team of one or more participants for the 2024 USET Tribal Climate Resilience Camp. The camp takes place on June 10-14, 2024 at the Avila Center in Durham, NC.

The 2024 USET Tribal Resilience Camp will host teams from USET Member Tribal Nations, for a total of about 30 participants.

A team may include: Tribal leaders; climate change coordinators, planners, and program managers; and/or community members.

Participants will learn about examples of Tribal climate adaptation, climate adaptation resources, and how climate adaptation may align with Tribal priorities and values.

USET also encourages each Member Tribal Nation team to bring specific climate adaptation and resiliency objectives and/or projects to work on, for which camp staff, facilitators, and guest speakers will provide support. Objectives and/or projects may include but are not limited to: community outreach plans, adaptation plans, vulnerability assessments, and funding strategies.
