Division Chief of DED

K. Denise Litz, a member of the Tuscarora Nation in New York, serves as the current Chief of the Division of Economic Development (DED). Denise comes to the Department of Interior with over 21 years of federal service at the Department of Health and Human Services, where she was Branch Chief for the Division of Tribal TANF Management. Prior to that, Denise worked for the Administration for Native Americans and the Office of Head Start. She has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, seven of which focus on tribal economic development.
