Albert Bond

Acting Director

Albert Bond is the Acting Director of the Bureau of Indian Affairs’ (BIA) Indian Energy Service Center (IESC), a BIA-funded and BIA-led office within the Department of the Interior. Albert joined the IESC in October 2016 as the IESC Branch Chief of Realty Services after working with the BIA managing energy development and processing work on Indian lands in various capacities for 12 years, including in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. His experience also includes work with other federal agencies managing energy projects on Indian lands and other professional experience in the water resources and environmental consulting field. Albert holds a Bachelor of Science in Watershed Science from Colorado State University, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge after serving in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
