The Department wishes to consult with Tribal governments to solicit input on the formation of the Commission and what the Commission should consider when developing recommendations that will have lasting impacts on Indian Country and further address the missing and murdered Indigenous people crisis.
The Department will conduct four webinar consultation sessions and will accept both oral and written comments. Please register in advance for any consultation session you plan on attending. In addition, a public meeting will be held immediately following each consultation session.
