Fixed Wing and Single Engine Airtankers
BIA is the only agency within the Department of Interior that contracts water scoopers. Two CL-215 water scoopers support areas of the nation where there is abundant water sources available. BIA also contracts four Single Engine Airtankers and one Aerial Supervision Aircraft to accomplish missions in Indian Country.
